ARE PEOPLE BORN HOMOSEXUAL? To everyone who believes people are born homosexual, do you believe adulterers are born adulterers? Do you think thieves are born thieves? We all are born with sinful desires to do what we want to do because of what happened in Genesis and when we choose to do what we want to do instead of doing what God wants us to do, not only are we heading down the wrong path but we are making decisions based on how we feel and so that is exactly why you see men committing adultery and thieves steeling because they are living based on how they feel and what they want to do. They could easily say the same thing "I was born adulterous" or "I was born a thief" but that's not true. Nobody was born specifically homosexual or adulterous nor a thief. They become that way because they are born in sin just like Christians are and because they choose to go about based on how they feel. Jesus came into this world to seek and to save because we all are sinners and without Him and without His death on the cross, there would be no forgiveness nor a second chance. Jesus loves us all but He does want us to repent and turn away from all of our sinful desires so that we can have everlasting life. John 3:3 says "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." So what does it mean to be reborn? Being reborn means you have repented of all your sins and that you have laid down your life to Jesus Christ. Being reborn means you are a new person as a Child of God, your old sinful ways are gone, and the new has come. It doesn't mean we will never sin again, it just means we have to repent of our sins. The Bible says in 1 John 3:9, "No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God." Now of course it is not always easy to repent and turn away from our sins but with the help of Jesus, we can overcome anything.
