Random Q & A:
Did we all come from Adam & Eve?
Tradition says all races come from one couple, Adam and Eve, but clearly that is not scientifically possible, as two people from the same race will always have children of the same race, as we see today. That teaching is also not Biblical either, because if it was, then there would be no such thing as gentiles in Scripture, and it would also mean GOD was okay with incest at one time, as that theory teaches Cain and Seth were left with no other option than to marry their "sisters". GOD says in Malachi 3:6, "For I am the LORD, I change not..." and in Leviticus 18 HE forbids incest. For further evidence that there are two different creations in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2, see our study "Did We All Come From Adam & Eve?" for more information. "But what about Abraham?" How is it possible for Noah's flood to have been worldwide?
We know from Matthew 19:26, Mark 10:27, and Luke 1:37 that all things are possible with GOD. However, when the Bible says the flood covered the whole earth, the word "earth" in the Hebrew is "ʼerets", and by definition it means "the earth (at large, or partitively a land):—× common, country, earth, field, ground, land, × nations, way, + wilderness, world."
In the King James Bible, "ʼerets" was translated as "land" 1,543 times, as "earth" 712 times, as "country" 140 times, and as "ground" 98 times. So as we can see, it doesn't always refer to the entire world. When you consider the purpose of why GOD sent the flood in the first place (which was to wipe out the wicked and the Nephilim, who were corrupting the Adamic genealogy in which JESUS CHRIST was to come through), it wouldn't make sense for GOD to wipe out every living being in other countries which had nothing to do with what occurred. It also wouldn't make sense for the ark to have landed in the same region if the flood had been worldwide because as we know, Noah and his family stayed on the ark for a little over a year, and if you've ever been out in a boat before, and you don't have your anchor down, your boat will eventually drift until you've lost sight of where you first were, especially in the ocean. If you didn't put your anchor down, you'd likely wind up states and continents away. Also, Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world and has an elevation over 12,000+ feet more than mount Ararat, along with hundreds more mountains that have a higher elevation than that of mount Ararat, including mount Büyükağrı which is in the same region as Mount Ararat. If the flood had been worldwide, surely it would have landed countries away in higher mountains.

Is it a sin to listen to music?
Sin is anything that separates us from GOD which occurs when we transgress HIS law (1 John 3:4), and James 4:4 says, "Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." So with that being said, does the music you listen to promote the things of the world (i.e. the flesh) or the things of CHRIST? If it promotes the things of this world such as secular music, which mainly promotes lust, profanity, vulgarity, drugs, covetousness, etc., then you shouldn't even be listening to it if you're truly a CHRIST follower. 1 John 2:15-17 says, "15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." and Romans 8:5-8 says, "5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God." For this reason, this website has a playlist of over 600 Christian songs, from YouTube, to choose from. Something you'll probably notice is that the more you listen to Christian music and draw yourself closer to GOD, the more you'll dislike any song which pertains to this world because you'll realize just how vain secular music is, as it's music that addresses problems in this life, with no solutions, or either temporary (usually sinful) "solutions". After all, we're told to be Holy (1 Peter 1:15-16) which means to be set apart from the ways of this world and how are others supposed to know we're set apart if we listen and promote the things of this world? That's just it, they won't be able to. Again, we're to always shine the light of CHRIST (Matthew 5:16), and to put HIM first above all else (Matthew 22:37-38) and when we don't shine HIS light, we take HIS name in vain, which is a sin (Exodus 20:7).
Now some would say, "There's no such thing as Christian music either." Obviously, anyone who would say "Christian music doesn't exist." or "Christian music is bad." has clearly never really listened to true Christian music before, as they wouldn't make an ignorant statement like that. After all, there's a whole book in the Bible called "Psalms" and numerous verses telling us we should praise and sing unto GOD. Although not all Christian songs are classified as worship songs, as some are about one's testimony, and overcoming depression and the things of this world, as long as they're pointing others to CHRIST and drawing the listener to CHRIST and HIS WORD, there's nothing bad about that. Ephesians 5:19 says, "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;", and Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

What was Ham's sin?
He uncovered his father's nakedness. Genesis 9:20-23 says, "20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21 and he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. 23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness." So what does it mean to uncover your father's nakedness? Leviticus 18:8 says, "The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness."
