Abortion
Abortion is legal in the eyes and laws of man, but what about GOD? What does HIS laws have to say? Well, whether you're aware of it or not, the BIBLE actually gives us this answer very early on, starting in the book of Exodus, but before we go there, let's begin this study in the book of Luke, and as we continue throughout this study, we'll go over all the aspects when it comes to abortion, and we will see just what our FATHER's WORD (the BIBLE) has to say about it.
Luke 1:30-47
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
The angel speaking here is Gabriel (Luke 1:26).
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS (= YEHOVAH [YHVH] is Salvation).
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
And so it is, HIS Kingdom (Heaven) is eternal, and is open to all who love, obey, and follow HIM (John 3:36, John 14:15).
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Mary was not yet married, as she was still a virgin, and it's important to know that she's not doubting what Gabriel is saying, but simply just inquisitive as to how she will become pregnant being she's a virigin.
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Gabriel is letting her know that it will be GOD's divine intervention (i.e. a GOD-given miracle) which shall bring this to pass.
36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
This baby here is John the Baptist and as we can see, Elisabeth was six months pregnant with him.
37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
And so it is, even unto this day. Nothing is impossible with GOD. Never underestimate what HE can do in our lives, no matter how hopeless a situation may appear to be.
38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
So as we can see, Gabriel came to Mary and told her the good news, and Mary believed. This being a great example of faith, as we should all have today, concerning anything GOD reveals to us.
39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste (i.e. with quickness), into a city of Juda;
40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
Mary was excited and when she came to her cousin Elisabeth, she congratulated her, and told her the good news of what Gabriel had just told her. Pay very close attention as we continue into the next verse.
41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost (= Spirit):
As we can see, the very first person to recognize the presence and the conception of the coming pre-born MESSIAH (JESUS CHRIST), was a babe (John the Baptist) in the womb, not even born yet. This documents that not only does life begin before birth, but also that life begins at conception. Remember as GOD told Jeremiah, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations (Jeremiah 1:5)". And so it is. Not only did GOD know Jeremiah, but HE also knew all of us, as all souls belong to GOD (Ezekiel 18:4), and it is HE who places them in the womb. So again, as we can see, life in these flesh bodies begins at conception, and if you're familiar with the world age (the first world age) before this one, then you'll understand why it is we have to enter into this flesh life. GOD is the Maker of each one of us, and the very moment we are conceived, HE has already placed our soul into that womb.
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
Mary was indeed greatly blessed, as she was the one chosen to bring forth JESUS CHRIST, who is EMMANUEL (= GOD with us), our MESSIAH, but don't think for a second that other pregnancies are not a blessing from GOD, as Elisabeth and Zacharias were also blessed with John, as well as anyone else expecting a child, who does things GOD's way. And what did GOD tell mankind in Genesis 1:28? HE said "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth".
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
Again, this documents that pre-born John, recognized the amazing presence and SPIRIT of ALMIGHTY GOD (EMMANUEL) in Mary's womb.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.
And so it is. This coming MESSIAH (JESUS CHRIST) would eventually bring forth Salvation unto the whole world, whereby all could receive it to whomsoever would believe upon HIM and obey HIM (Hebrews 5:9, John 3:36).
46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
So now that we know that life begins at conception and that there's life before birth, let's turn to Exodus 21 and see what our FATHER's WORD has to say about murdering a pre-born child, and also other people in general.

So now that we know that life begins at conception and that there's life before birth, let's turn to Exodus 21 and see what our FATHER's WORD has to say about murdering a pre-born child, and also other people in general.
Exodus 21:22-25
22 If men strive (= fight), and hurt a woman with child (i.e. a woman gets hurt due to their fight), so that her fruit (yeled in Hebrew, = offspring) depart (yâtsâʼ = come out/proceed) from her, and yet no mischief (ʼâçôwn = hurt) follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
In other words, the example given is men are fighting and one of them hits a pregnant woman standing in their way, and as a result, she goes into early labor; if the woman and her baby she gives birth to are okay, then the one who hit the woman shall be punished (= fined [ʻânash in the Hebrew manuscripts]) according as the woman's husband will lay upon the one who hit the pregnant woman, and they are to pay as the judges determine.
23 And if any mischief (ʼâçôwn = hurt) follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
In other words, if the woman and/or baby dies, then the one who murdered the woman and/or baby is to be put to death. Now it should be noted that some so called "Bible translations" translate the above verse (verse 22) as "If two men are fighting, and in the process hurt a pregnant woman so that she has a miscarriage, but she lives, then the man who injured her shall be fined whatever amount the woman’s husband shall demand, and as the judges approve.", when it is just not so. The word "miscarriage" is no where to be found in the Hebrew manuscripts for verse 22, in which our English translations come from, but instead the word is yâtsâʼ, as put in parenthesis above, and it simply means "to come out/proceed". Now although some would assume that could mean a miscarriage, the Hebrew actually has a specific word for miscarriage, which can be found in Exodus 23:26, that reads starting from verse 25, "And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young (= miscarry [shâkôl in the Hebrew]), nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil". So as we can see, shâkôl is the Hebrew word for miscarry, as you can document yourself using a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, and so if Exodus 21:22 above had been referring to a woman who has a miscarriage from the man who hit her, then it is no doubt that word shâkôl would have been the word used for the English translation of "depart", but as we can see, that was not the word used but instead it was yâtsâʼ in the Hebrew, which again, simply means to proceed/come out; which also is the same word used in Genesis 25:25, when describing Esau's birth, who was a living child born.
24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
As we can clearly see and will see more on below, GOD does not tolerate wickedness, especially when it involves someone murdering another person [in this case a woman and/or child], for everyone who does evil will surely reap what they sow, whether it be now or on judgement day. See Galatians 6:7, 2 Corinthians 9:6. So after everything we have read and gone over so far, does that give a woman the right to have an abortion (i.e. murder their un-wanted child)? Absolutely not, for that falls under the category of pre-meditated murder in GOD's eyes, and as HIS WORD says in Deuteronomy 19:11-13 "11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: 12 Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die. 13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee". And so it is. Life begins at conception which is before a child is even born, and so when a woman decides to go through with an abortion, she commits pre-meditated murder by shedding innocent blood (the blood of her child), along with the "doctor" that performed it, and according to GOD's law, they are to be put to death through a speedy trial and you're not to feel sympathy for such folks in what they have done. Now although our court systems do not instill this law today, does that mean you are to take the law into your own hands? Absolutely not, for vengeance belongs to GOD (Romans 12:19) and you are to leave that up to HIM when our courts and judges fail to fulfill HIS laws. So although pre-meditated murder is an action that according to GOD's law, is supposed to result in the death penalty, and carried out through our courts today, sadly it is not enforced which is why so much evil and innocent lives are taken throughout our lands today, regardless if it deals with abortion or murdering someone who already has been born. Evil exists and walks through our lands today because our court systems and laws fail to carry out GOD's law, and as a result, bad things sometimes happen to what appears in our eyes to be "good/decent" people.

Now some will say, "but what if a woman is raped and she conceives, isn't that cruel to force her to give birth to a child she doesn't want"? First of all, the pregnancy's no where as traumatic as the rape was, and what could be more cruel than passing the death penalty on to someone innocent who had nothing to do with it? As Christians, we aren't to repay evil with more evil, especially on someone who's not at fault. Also, from a survey obtained by USA Today, only 1% of all abortions are due to rape, [and 0.5% incest], and regardless of that, going through with an abortion is not going to un-do the rape, and it's not going to take the destructive pain away that came from the rape, but instead it's only going to add to it, as in the case of most all women who have had one, as they have to live the rest of their lives, knowing they shedded innocent blood and gave the death penalty to someone else, due to the wicked actions of another person, and again, what could be crueler than that? Also, in many cases, rape occurs amongst women who hang out in the presence of wicked people, such as night clubs, parties, dark valleys, parking garages, and other places where GOD-given common-sense should tell a person, especially a woman, not to be at alone, especially without a self-defense weapon, such as a concealed to carry. Now regardless of the atmospheric region, rape sometimes happens to women even in public settings, or in places where it is least expected, as sometimes a woman can just be in the wrong place at the wrong time, just as a man can too, but again, having an abortion will never un-do the traumatizing pain from the rape but will only add to it, and give a child the death penalty for the actions of someone else. Another main cause, which increase the chance of rape, is that most women no longer dress in modest apparel anymore, as GOD expects them to (1 Timothy 2:9-10, 1 Corinthians 6:20) and as a result, they wonder why such evil happens to them; when women go around flaunting themselves and showing skin, dressing like prostitutes', how can they expect to be safe from such violence, and respected and protected? Moving on...
"But what if it's a ten year old girl"? Again, the pregnancy isn't as traumatic as the rape was, and if she's pregnant, that means her body has already gone through puberty, which means she's capable of having a child. Yes it's a shame that girl is forced from an early age to grow up faster, but this is exactly why our HEAVENLY FATHER demands for the rapist to be executed through the death penalty, which is supposed to be carried out through our court systems today (Deuteronomy 22:25-27). Persuading and forcing the young lady to have an abortion will only bring upon her shame, guilt, and eventually severe regret. It's not her fault and neither is it the babies fault, so calling for the shedding of innocent blood will only hurt her more mentally, and bring upon GOD's curses amongst anyone advising for it.
"What if the child has defects"? Anyone who thinks such a case is acceptable is basically saying that anyone born alive today with birth defects is better off dead, and what a satanic mindset that is. Murdering an innocent child because it "might" have a defect is nothing but pure evil, and clearly still falls under the category of pre-meditated murder. Now regardless if a child has possible defects or not, and the mother decides she doesn't want her child for whatever reason, adoption is always a solution and should be the only solution in such a case, instead of carrying out murder.
"What if the mother's life is at risk"? Although extremely rare, it's still sad whenever a mother doesn't survive child birth, but this is exactly why it is so crucial to be close to GOD because if the mother is truly close to GOD, she won't fear the outcome of her pregnancy because she knows her life is in GOD's hands, and whatever HIS will is, it will come to pass. Just think if Mary had had that same mindset as many of these selfish, heathen, unfaithful, godless, women of today have, and she decided to try and end her pregnancy? There would be no Salvation, nor forgiveness for us today. After all, she was just a teenager, which easily could have been stoned to death, if it wasn't for GOD's divine protection and her soon-to-be husband (Joseph) corroborating for her, and think of all the pressure she had but instead remained calm, excited, and faithful. Both Mary and Joseph knew GOD and walked closely to HIM, which is why they had such amazing faith and didn't fear, and because of this, GOD knew HE could count on them and bring HIS plan to pass. Genesis 35:16-19 tells us about Rachel's death, while giving birth to Benoni (Benjamin). Do you think for a second she would have tried to have an abortion if that had been possible? Highly doubtful because she knew her son had a purpose to fulfill GOD's plan on helping bring forth the tribes of Israel. Any mother willing to murder her own child rather than be courageous and take the risk of giving birth to it, because she "might" have a complication, is beyond wicked.
So "is abortion the unforgivable/unpardonable sin"? No it is not but just because it's not the unforgivable sin doesn't mean it won't send you to hell, for the Bible tells us in 1 John 3:15, "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him". This is certainly not what many churches are bold enough to preach, but it is what it is, as GOD's WORD is the final authority. If you think you can carry out murder (i.e. abortion), especially after having the knowledge now of when life begins, and that GOD is just going to forgive you afterwards by simply just asking, you are sorely deceived, and you'll likely be very disappointed on judgment day. If there is no repentance, there is no forgiveness, and thinking you can repent beforehand while still choosing to carry out such a wicked deed is an outright lie. A true repentant person strives to be free from sin and avoids sin at all costs, not strives to sin freely and take the lives of others.
Now are we condemning any woman who's had an abortion in her past? Absolutely not, nor are we saying there's no hope for you on judgement day if you did have one in your past, because there is still hope; but that only applies to those who are truly born again which have become a new creation in CHRIST (2 Corinthians 5:17), who have straightened themselves up. After all, GOD knows those who have truly been convicted, converted, and truly repented, from those who haven't; from those who are nothing but play actors, who are deceived into thinking they can con GOD, when it is just not possible, as HE knows our every thought. It is upon HIS amazing, special, and precious, blood-sacrifice on the cross for our sins, whereby we can be forgiven upon true repentance through HIS SON; to all those who are true and sincere.
If you're a lady today reading this, who has had thoughts on having an abortion, we hope and pray that after reading this study that you will have a change of heart, as again, murderers are not guaranteed Salvation, and those who choose to murder [shedding innocent blood] will greatly bring upon themselves GOD's curses, which you can read many of them in Deuteronomy 28. Remember, adoption is always an option if you don't want your child.
Now to anyone else reading this today, never be afraid to share the truth with others who are considering such choices, and always remember, vengeance belongs to GOD (Romans 12:19), and you should never ever take the law into your own hands, nor consider suicide (self-murder) if you are guilty of committing such a sin in your past, as you will have only committed another murder, but rather spend the rest of your life doing everything you can to get right with GOD and be pleasing to HIM, and GOD will have great joy in that. Again, there is only one unforgiveable sin, and murder is not it.
"But what if it's a ten year old girl"?
